Oak & Iron is a heavy industrial services company based in Columbia City, Indiana, serving manufacturers, industrial facilities, general contractors, and the businesses that keep heavy industry running across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
We provide crane & rigging, hydraulic skidding, specialized transportation, and machinery moving — from a single machine set to a full plant relocation. When a job calls for precision and a crew that shows up prepared, that's the work we're built for.
Our leadership brings deep, hands-on field experience across rigging, machinery moving, and heavy haul. We don't subcontract the hard part — we do it ourselves, and we protect our reputation on every job.

Leadership & Partners
Brice is founder and principal of Oak & Iron. He brings eight years of direct experience across high-voltage transmission contracting, industrial machinery moving, and crane and rigging — advancing through estimator, project manager, director of sales, and vice president of operations roles within a regional contracting business.
Jacob is a principal and founder of Oak & Iron and has carried his General Contractor's license since 2004. With over a decade of leadership experience, he has created and implemented successful business strategies, turned around businesses, led cross-functional teams, developed new products and concepts, and cultivated lasting business relationships.
Jason is the CFO of Oak & Iron, leveraging 20 years of investment banking, corporate consulting, and entrepreneurship experience across a wide array of industries. Alongside Oak & Iron and his consulting duties, Jason is an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business, teaching finance, private equity and venture capital, and alternative investments.
Barry Switzer serves on the Oak & Iron board. A 2001 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, he won three national championships in 16 years at Oklahoma and a Super Bowl XXX title with the Dallas Cowboys, one of only three coaches to do both. As founder and co-founder of multiple businesses, he brings judgment on people, strategy, and growth.
